About Us
Topowa Youth Mentoring Uganda is a community not for Profit organisation that seeks to build a better, healthier, inspired and a motivated future for all the young people and their communities in Uganda.
Founded in 2017 , the aim of TYMU is to work towards providing empowerment for young people to make healthy life choices around Alcohol and substance abuse, Mental Health related issues and providing Mentorship so that they can work towards achieving their dreams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the organization.
Oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Manage organizational finances and ensure sustainability.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.
Lead fundraising efforts and grant writing initiatives.
Supervise staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
5+ years of leadership experience in a nonprofit or youth development organization.
Proven track record in fundraising, grant writing, and financial management.
Strong networking, advocacy, and strategic planning skills.
