Focus Areas

All our programs, campaigns or projects are innovatively developed to be inclusice so that we are able to provide information, inspiration and motivation in regards to mentorship, substance and drug abuse, empowering Girls to succeed and address  teenage pregnancy , address issues HIV/AIDS and stigma, life skills, and so many other issues that affect young people.

Our work is majorly considered as altruistic activities, where we provide services for no financial gain to benefit the Youth and our communities in Uganda to ensure that we have better young people for tomorrow and we have done this since April 2017 reaching over

These projects aim to implement interventions to prevent alcohol and substance abuse among secondary school students in Uganda

Smashed Live

This is a live theatre education program which tackles underage drinking with positive thinking. It aims to implement interventions to prevent alcohol abuse among secondary school students in Uganda.

Cool Teenz Xperience

The Cool Teens Experience is a youth-centered program designed to engage, educate, and empower students on important topics related to mental health and drug and substance abuse. Through a blend of entertainment and education, this project aims to raise awareness and encourage healthy lifestyle choices. Adolescents face a variety of pressures, and it’s essential they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make sound decisions regarding their mental and physical health.

Rehabilitation and Skilling Program

This Program aims to support victims and survivors of drugs and substance abuse in their journey to recovery by providing a blend of psychological, social, and economic support through counseling, life skills, and vocational training to break this cycle. Increasing rates of Drug and Substance Abuse among youth leading to health issues and social problems.

2 : Improving health and wellbeing of Young People

Beera Steady Program

The Beera Steady Program aims to create a significant impact on the sexual and reproductive health of young people in Uganda. By providing comprehensive SRHR education and support, the program will empower youth to lead healthier, happier , more productive and informed life choices.

​The primary target audience for the Beera Steady Program includes adolescents and youth, with a focus on both in-school and out-of-school approaches while engaging parents, teachers, and community leaders and other key gate keepers to create a supportive environment for SRHR education and awareness.

Mental Health and Psych-Social Support Program

This program aims to address mental health and psycho-social support needs among adolescents and young people, both in and out of school, through a comprehensive program that integrates mental health education, community outreach & engagements and capacity building, psycho-social support and referral services for the young people.

The High School Career Expo and Skills Development Program

This is a program designed to equip students with the knowledge, inspiration, and connections needed to make informed career choices. It serves as a dynamic platform where students can explore diverse career paths, interact with professionals, and gain practical insights into the evolving job market. The expo brings together industry experts, educators, and aspiring young minds to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers.

Through interactive workshops, mentorship sessions, and career guidance, the expo empowers students to discover their strengths, nurture their talents, and take actionable steps toward achieving their aspirations.

The Gal Pawa Project

This is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering young girls by equipping them with skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in society. This project is dedicated to addressing gender disparities by fostering leadership, economic independence, and personal development among girls. Through mentorship programs vocational training and advocacy efforts, Gal Pawa seeks to bridge the gender gap by promoting equal opportunities and creating a supportive environment where girls can realize their full potential.

The Peer Educators Program

In May 2025, Topowa Youth Mentoring Uganda proudly launched the Peer Educators Program, a dynamic initiative designed to equip mentors with the essential knowledge and skills they need to impact peers positively.

As this program continues to grow, we are confident that these peer educators will not only inspire change within schools but also ripple out into their communities. This is what youth-led transformation looks like. Together, we are building a generation that is aware, empowered, and unstoppable.

The Boys 2 Men Project

This is an initiative that addresses the often-overlooked challenges faced by boys and men in Uganda. By promoting positive masculinity, economic empowerment, and active community engagement, the program aims to create a more equitable society where both men and women can thrive.
