Introducing TOPOWA NEXTGEN: A new generation of young passionate chamge makers

Topowa Youth Mentoring Uganda is excited to unveil TOPOWA NEXTGEN, a high-energy, one-month mentorship and skills development program crafted exclusively for School leavers who are ready to step boldly into their future.

Finishing School is a major milestone but it also comes with big questions:What’s my next step? How do I prepare for the real world? How do I make choices that set me up for success?

That’s exactly why Topowa NextGen was created.

This is not just another holiday training or youth camp.It’s a transformational experience that bridges the gap between school and adulthood helping young people discover their strengths, build essential life skills, and gain the confidence they need to navigate life’s next phase.

But here’s what makes Topowa NextGen truly special:Participants don’t just learn for themselves they are prepared to become the next wave of Topowa Peer Educators.That means the skills, values, and confidence they gain here won’t stop with them they’ll be passed on to hundreds of other young people in schools and communities across Uganda.

To join the Topowa NextGen journey, each participant contributes a training fee of just 100,000 UGX.

This covers:

• Learning materials and training resources

• Mentorship sessions with Topowa trainers

• Access to digital and financial literacy workshops

• Certification upon completion

It’s a small investment for a life-changing experience that prepares young people for the future academically, socially, and emotionally.

The journey doesn’t end with graduation it begins there.

Outstanding participants from the Topowa NextGen program will get an exclusive opportunity to join the Topowa Peer Educator Program, where they’ll use what they’ve learned to mentor others.

As peer educators, they’ll work with schools, communities, and youth groups to lead discussions, share knowledge, and inspire change among their peers. This progression ensures that the lessons learned in NextGen ripple outward creating a chain of empowered, informed, and compassionate young leaders.

It’s not just about personal growth it’s about giving back and becoming part of a movement that’s transforming youth mentorship in Uganda.

By combining mentorship, life skills, digital training, and leadership development, the program ensures that every participant leaves not only smarter but stronger emotionally, mentally, and socially.

They will:
